Marcie Germani Simmons established the Fliptime mobile gymnastics program in San Diego County in 1998 with a handful of schools and youth groups. Nine years later, Fliptime continues to grow as a children's recreational and developmental fixture for recreation centers, schools, churches and youth organizations all over the county. Marcie's
Bio Marcie is a former NCAA gymnast from Arizona State University who was trained by many noted gymnastics figures and she was instructed in coaching by World Trampoline Champion George Hery Sr. She accepted the directorship of her hometown team, the Imperial Valley Gymnastics Club, where for 14 years she instructed nearly 1,000 children from 10-months to high-school age, as well as athletes of all ages at national competition levels. Marcie's motivational skills and community spirit led IVGC to the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City as the top national fundraiser for USAG. Marcie achieved wonderful breakthroughs with several Special Olympians and other special-needs students in Arizona and California. She is a skill evaluator for USA Gymnastics and has a number of other certifications that qualify her as one of San Diego's premiere personal gymnastics coaches.
